Salman Ahmed is always up to something. When he isn't giving lectures on bridging divides between East and West or touring, he is working with the likes of Melissa Etheridge. The latest, is a memoir. Titled Rock and Roll Jihad: A Muslim Rock Star's Revolution, the book has been written by Salman and is all set to release early next year.Salman Ahmed

Speaking with Instep Today, Salman Ahmed said about the book: "It is a cultural and musical memoir which looks at Pakistan, India and America from a sufi rocker's perspective. Once Simon and Schuster publishing house are ready to launch it, I'll be happy to talk more about the project."

News Jia AliThe 20 episodes of actress Jia Ali's first comedy serial "Chekoo Baba Aur Woh", have been completed, a daily newspapers reported Thursday.

Kanwal Khosat is director of the serial while prominent artists Sarmad Khosat, Komal Naz and Irfan Khosat are performing in the serial.

"I much enjoyed myself the role of "spirit" and I hope the viewers would appreciate my new get-up and fantastic role," Jia said.
