  Mona will appear in a Punjabi comic serial 'Nae Chadan Ga' to be telecast on a private channel with a couple of months.
Muhammad Ashafaq Chaudhry is the producer while Ejaz Anjum is directing the play, staring Iftikhar Thakur, Nawaz Anjum and others. The recordings for the 26-episode drama started on Wednesday at a local studio. In a statement here at the S&R Studio, Mona - who is also running a beauty salon in one of the posh areas, DHA, of the provincial capital - Mona said that she would play the role of Nund (sister-in-law) in the drama, adding that her character was based on gestures as she would act as a foolish girl who had always been getting extraordinary care and love from her parents in the play.

 Actresses Megha, Dedar, Nida Chudhary and Anjuman Shahzadi have contacted the producers after being informed about their investment in theaters, a local newspaper reported on Thursday. According to stage circles, the actresses are happy over the investment in stage plays.

 On the occasion of third death anniversary of top Lollywood actor Muhammad Ali, a large number of his fans and actress Zeba arranged Dua and laid floral wreath on his grave to pay him homage.
Zeba also arranged Qura'an Khawani at her home. Hundreds of Ali's fans arranged Quraan Khawani for him in Faisalabad and Karachi. The fans lauded the legend actor's services for the film industry.

 Renound actress Ms Nirma Thursday paying tribute to late film star Muhammad Ali's life and work said that he was a great legend in his own lifetime.
Talking to the MusicPakistan.net on the occasion of film actor Muhammad Ali's anniversary the actress said: "I pay to Allah for His blessings for Muhammad Ali sahib."
She said his vast and versatile work was a compendium of great films of the golden period of Pakistani film industry that could serve the new talents to boost their abilities. She said Ali gave maximum utility with limited source that was his specialty. She said that Muhammad Ali was even greater film star than Amitab Bachan and any other film star, unfortunately, his services had been ignored.

News: Basant Celebrations on March 14 and 15 |

 Kites and string will be available at markets for the city's residents after Friday prayers, as shops will open and people will be free to purchase Basant-related accessories, MusicPakistan.net learnt on Thursday.
This was decided in a meeting of Kite Flying Association (KFA) officials and Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Taimur Azmat Usman. The association also held a meeting with District Coordination Officer (DCO) Sajjad Ahmed Bhutta.
 For the first time in two years, the city's citizens would be allowed to celebrate the spring festival of Basant by flying kites. People across the city have welcomed the decision of celebrating Basant. However, the Punjab government has only allowed Basant Celebrations on March 14 and 15.
