  Pakistani teenager Mohammed Salim joins the crowd waiting at one of Karachi's cinemas to see the blockbuster Indian thriller 'Ghajini' -- Bollywood's biggest grossing movie ever.
The action movie starring Aamir Khan and based on the Hollywood film Memento spins a complex tale of a man with amnesia who tattoos himself and takes Polaroid pictures to remember people and places.
"I loved this movie, not just because it was made in India but because we don't produce such quality stuff here," Salim said afterwards. Just a year ago, the screening would not have been possible, as Pakistan had barred films from its rival neighbour for more than 40 years. Lifting the ban helped revive Pakistan's suffering cinemas, luring film buffs away from televisions in their living rooms and into the movie houses.

 Abrar-ul-Haq has said that the music industry is in a shambles as there is a general tendency of sadness because of the gloomy conditions of the Muslim world and this miserable condition of the Muslim world is haunting the minds of singers and poets and they are unable to produce anything rocking like 'Bangrah'.
Among all the members of Pakistan's pop singers community, Abrar-ul-Haq enjoys the highest profile. In an exclusive interview with Media, he, talking about his future plans and projects, revealed that he would release a new album within four or five months. Talking to The Media, he said, "We, Jawad Ahmad, Hadiqa Kiani, Zafar Ali and Atif Aslam, are all Muslims first, then singers and this is why the music industry in Pakistan is in its such a worse condition." He said the music industry is in a shambles as there is a general tendency of sadness because of the gloomy conditions of the Muslim world.
Talking about the general trend of the Pakistani singers and Lollywood icons going to India, the star said: "I do not think it necessary to be stamped by the Indians for being a popular singer, anybody can become a good singer while living in Pakistan.
Answering a question about playback singing, Abrar said, "There is nothing wrong with becoming a playback singer and playback singing should be done." He said that he did not demand any huge amount from any film producer for playback singing, adding that "I most often offer and gift songs without any cost."

 The lollywood actors and actress have condemned the harassment of a prominent Pakistan's television and stage actor Shakeel Siddiqui who was beaten up by some Indian fundamentalist elements in Mumbai.
Shakeel was expected to perform in the famous show 'Comedy Circus'. For that purpose he was staying in Mumbai, but it seems a group of thugs belonging to Nationalist/fundamentalist Indian mindset has badly beaten the terrific comedian.In a statement , Aliya Ali slammed the extremists for their coward attempt to terrify a man serving the art. She said such actions might hamper the media relations between both the countries. Separately, noted drama director Dr Ajmal, Megha, Muskan Khan Shahid Khan, Babu Baral, Sakhawar Naz and others condemned the incident, terming it a bid to affect media relations between the two states.They said the India artistes should respect their counter parts as if they want to be respected they should respect Pakistani artistes in thier homeland.

A prominent Pakistan's television and stage actor Shakeel Siddiqui was beaten up by some Indian fundamentalist elements in Mumbai on Wednesday, a news daily reported.
Famous comedian Shakeel was expected to perform in the famous show 'Comedy Circus'. For that purpose he was staying in Mumbai, but it seems a group of thugs belonging to Nationalist/fundamentalist Indian mindset has badly beaten the terrific comedian. At the moment it seems a horrible news, as Shakeel has been a famous person in India and was a source of bringing joy to million of faces all across the sub-continent.
It will be interesting to see how this story unfolds and how it would affect the media relations between both the countries. '
Ghajini' is just released in Pakistan after a slight delay and this horrific news is going to further affect the constant deteriorating situation between the two nuclear Nations.

 The nation's sweetheart and Lollywood Actress Nirma has strongly condemned the blasts at The Mall and Kurtuba road here Saturday.
Taking to The Media, she said certainly the act of hurting anybody was in no capacity appropriate. She expressed strong disapproval of the terrorism activities in the country, especially at The Mall and Kurtuba road. She said that no doubt president Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani were doing their best to tackle various crises in the country, however, the Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's spirit is need of the hour to save and protect the country.
