News: Artistes Condemn Lahore Blasts |

  The actresses and directors have strongly condemned the strikes inside and outside the Lahore theatres.
In their separate statements, various lollywood figures including director Dr Ajmal Malik, Megha, Aliya Ali, Kiren Butt Shanza Khan, Sheeba, Abid Kashmiri and others have condemned the blasts and termed the act a coward attempt to shatter the people serving the art.
In her statement, Aliya Ali, a model and TV actress, said the elements involved in such acts were anti-state people who want to shatter the people serving for the art.

News: Zuberi Reaches Lahore For Recording Of A TV Serial |

 Actress Laila Zuberi has reached Lahore for the recording of a drama serial 'Tarey Pehloo Main'. The recording of the serial is being carried out at a studio at Badian Road.
The serials directors are M Usman and Zulfiqar Ali. Other artists are Jamal Shah, Sara Ch, Deeba baigum, Kamran Mujahid, Tanveer Malik and Farooq Zamee.

 Actress Meera has announced to produce her own film for the survival of the Pakistani film industry here Monday.
According to details Meera will be producing a film during the current year for the development and survival of the Pakistan's film industry. According to a newspaper, the paper work for the film is being don that will be on the set soon.
She will also be acting in the film for an important role.

Recently, on a stint in Lahore she donned a bold metalic bronze leather jacket with a tan trouser, and hair so highly streaked that the Governor house where a reception for the recently launched United Producers Association was underway, was cast into the backdrop. Nothing was more gleaming or more eye-catching than the luscious Ms Odho. Few in the circles at that event would have worn something so glitzy and gotten away with it, especially at a venue where the mode of dress is so restrained that even the Governor turned up in a demure shalwar kurta and the necessary 'bandi'. But not Atiqa O, who with her sense of style, managed to get away with the shiny ensemble and knocked everyone a little off balance.

 Actress Sana and her husband Fakhr Imam have arranged their honeymoon in foreign after Maharmul Haram.
Talking to the Khabrain Group of Newspapers Sana said that it had not yet been decided that in what country they would celebrate their honeymoon.
She said these days she was not taking any part in the showbiz activities but attending parties arranged by the friends and families. She said she would be back on her showbiz job in February.
