News: Lollywood celebs stress unity against terror |

  Noted Lollywood figures have stressed the need for unity against the menace of terrorism confronting the nation that have left hundreds of innocents dead and thousands amid shock and grief.
In their separate messages on Eidul Fitr, they called for mounting up endeavours against the current wave of terror.
"I wish to my nation Eid greetings. May Allah Almighty bless our nation with His blessings and save our country from enemies," said Megha, who have stormed the theatre world, apparently, owing to better earning and quick response from the audience.

 Remember Mehr Hassan, the heroine of the mega flop film Sharat that not only gave the director Samina Peerzada much heartache and made Mehr take the first flight back home to the USA? Well, she's back in town, especially from the USA, to shoot an item number! As there was never a doubt regarding her dancing skills, the film in question is producer/director Aijaz Bajawa's Chana Saachi Muchi slated to release this Eid. The song Yeh Ishq Nahi Hai Asaan, choreographed by Khanu Samrat, was recently shot at the somewhat haunted Sheikhupura fort on Mehr and Babar Ali. Talking to the press, Mehr said that she is honoured to work on this item song and holds the director in utmost respect, "I had left showbiz as the films made here were of no standard, hence I was living in America for the past two years. When Bajawa Sahib asked me to be a part of the film, I was more than happy to do so. I am a classical dancer and I have worked very hard for this number along with the Khanu, the choreographer. Here's hoping that viewers will like what they see. I am all for working in films again as long as I get good and worthwhile projects to boot." Well, Mehr, with some zara haat kay stuff coming out in regard to cinema in Pakistan, we also hope to see you more on the silver screen.

News: 8 Lollywood Movies on Eid-ul-Fitr |

 Four movies are scheduled to be screened in Lahore on Eid-ul-Fittar Day on October 2/3. Only a single Urdu movie is among those movies. Actor and director Shaan's film Zill-e-Shah, Altaf Hussain's Ishq be-parwah, Rasheed Dogar's Gunhaon ki Basti and Pervez Rana's movie Suhagan. Four Pashto movies will also released in Peshawar and Karachi. They are actor and director Arbaz Khan's two movies Yarana and Ishq, director Arshad Khan's Shah Zalmei da Pakhton (in which Shahid Khan and Arbaz Khan are together first time) and director Liaqat Ali Khan's Akhar Gunah may sa da.

 From Eid Day New Stage Shows Will perform in all Stage Hall and like every accusation this time also all Stage Actresses preparing the expensive clothes for the Eid-ul-Fitr as a competition.
But Queen of Stage Nirgis will not doing any show on this Eid due to birth of a child.
So the competition is only among Dedaar, Anjuman Shahzadi, Nida Chaudry, Khushbhoo, Sidra Noor and Hina Shaheen. but the competition is close among Khushboo and Anjuman Shahzadi. Both spend 100 of Thousands rupees on their clothes to letdown each other.
Due to absence of Nirgis from Stage producers think this time stage shows will do less business then ever before.
